How I Graduated From College Debt Free Twice WEEK#13

In this article it talks about, how you can become debt free when attending college and how one students came debt free from college. Various student only way to support there financial situation is to use loans to help pay for tuition. This article gives way on how to decrease the cost for college starting the beginning of
your attend.  First monitor your money and be caution on how you spend your dollars on food, transportation, and activity.  Be created and come up with something that can help you make money.  Find something you really enjoy and what people might endorse in your product.
Students qualified students choose financial aid through the FAFSA may be offered
multiple types of assistance, including the Pell Grant and federal loans, among others.
Also scholarships maybe another source of income, if qualified.  There are plans that can
be as low as zero dollar monthly payments or very low monthly payments, depending on
the borrower’s individual situation,” Vidal said. “Borrowers need to work with their loan
service to make sure they are in the correct repayment plan for their circumstances.”
When the above methods aren’t enough, many students chose to work full-time to afford
the costs of education and avoid debt. While these students do not build up debt, the full-
time schedule of work and school can be stressful.
“I’m absolutely (worried about paying back loans) because it’s maybe hard to find a job
in my field especially.

The Freshman 15 Week #12

Entering college is the best feeling ever no curfew, parties, and last but not lease food that never comes to an end. The first time I walked into PrairieView A&M cafeteria I was like " O My" there was food everywhere from pizza to ice cream. It was like a little kids dream an in your mind you have it set to where it's all free even though your financial aid. While walking around the cafeteria you mind start to wonder how this and this taste. Your eyes starts to get bigger then you stomach. So picture yourself eating like this for about a semester. Most students don't think twice about gaining weight until they put on the favorite outfit or go shopping and to find out you don't wear the same size as you did bring the semester started. Then they realize eating in the cafeteria everyday all day can put some weight on you. So next time you decided to pig out in the cafeteria start with a fresh salad, a lean meal and fruit for desert.

Summer's Coming Are You Excited.... Week 10

Most students can't wait until the summer time. Why of course  "No School". Some students feel that it's going to be hard because they have to find a job to keep a little change in your pocket. I think for high school students I can relate to them, most are ready so they do have to wear uniforms any more. Now their free to wear whatever they want like flip flops, tank tops, and shorts. Summer is the best season ever beautiful skies, sunny days at the beach, and most of all the wonderful weather. You don't have to worry about it being cold and foggy. Summer is known for being lazy, laying under the sun, and staying up all night because you have nothing to do the next day. The reason most students are happy is because they don't have to worry about homework and nothing to study. The word "Summer" brings so much fun to the world but the best part of it is the food and fun. The summer brings in the most yummiest snacks ad live live entertainment. You start to see carnivals, concerts, and fun festivals. When I hear of summer times coming I think of crawfish, watermelon, and water parks. Summer is made for traveling, getting your driving license, and enjoying life.

Job Hunting Lessons for College Week #11

For high school graduates finding a job for college isn't the easest thing. You have to make sure that you can balance the job being a college students. You have to make sure that your job doesn't intersect with your class time, study time and most importantly homework time. It's like having the two jobs at the same time. To me looking for a job is like looking for a wedding dress, you try one after another until you find the right one that fits you. The nite before your interview made sure you be well rested. The morning of the interview make sure you wake up a little early and they and research the job so you can ask the person interviewing you questions about the business. Eat a nice breakfast to get threw the interview, so that you can calm your butterflies down during the interview. After the interview make sure you keep in touch with the job for your interview status to see if you qualify for the job.        http://bit.ly/ZRMgYM

Special Education Teachers Week #7

Teachers with a special education degree work with students who have a wide variety of disabilities, from those with only mild learning disabilities to others who suffer from more severe intellectual disabilities, autism and physical impairments. These educators have a genuine sense of compassion for students with special needs.
Special education degrees are offered through many universities and colleges throughout the country. The 4-year curriculum covers subjects such as child development, educational psychology, special education policies and legalities, and the skills and knowledge necessary for teaching students with disabilities.
More and more special education degree programs require their students to complete a fifth year designed to hone special ed teaching skills in one or more areas of specialization, including speech therapy, reading disabilities or nonverbal learning disabilities.
With a bachelor's degree, you might find teaching or teacher assistant positions at the traditional elementary or secondary levels, but new legislation also now opens doors to teach at early childhood levels, including toddlers and preschoolers.

Womens History Mouth Week #9

Women’s History Month in the United States grew out of a weeklong celebration of women’s contributions to culture, history and society organized by the school district of Sonoma, California, in 1978. Presentations were given at dozens of schools, hundreds of students participated in a “Real Woman” essay contest and a parade was held in downtown Santa Rosa.
A few years later, the idea had caught on within communities, school districts and organizations across the country. In 1980, President Jimmy Carter issued the first presidential proclamation declaring the week of March 8 as National Women's History Week. The U.S. Congress followed suit the next year, passing a resolution establishing a national celebration. Six years later, the National Women’s History Project successfully petitioned Congress to expand the event to the entire month of March.

Valentines Day with the Students Week #5

I think a lot of students look forward to valentine day because they get a chance to give gifts and
goodies and also receive them from other students. It also shows them how to be make and be lovable .
Doing different activites helps them realize the meaning of love and who they love. Showing them there are all kinds of ways to show love like make greeting cards, or do a Valentines Board show the students favorite person.
